Tropical fruits~5 degrees south of the Equator

Five degrees south of the equator, 930km NE  of Madagascar ,
the Seychelles are the only mid-oceanic granitic islands in the world.
As Gondwanaland split apart millions of years ago, India drifted north toward Asia, creating the Himalayas. Isolating the islands for 75 million years while leaving  primitive  flora and fauna to flourish.
